The TSA is blogging

We’re always hearing news about how the TSA is causing problems with travelers, but now that they’ve created a blog, the travelers have a forum to make their voices heard:

After receiving questions on the blog beginning earlier this week about some airports requiring travelers to remove everything BlackBerries, iPods, electrical cords and the like from carry-on luggage for screening, TSA officials were left “scratching our heads” about this practice, the agency noted Wednesday in a blog post.

They really have a long way to go to relieve the years of abuse and trouble they’ve caused everyone, but it’s great to see a large monolithic organization wake up and start to listen to people and get their act together.
